Norman Francis Jones, 87, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on April 18, 2021 surrounded by his family in Dayton, Ohio. Norman was born September 16, 1933 to Frances Radatz and Dwight T. Jones in Dover, NJ. Norman proudly served in the US Navy and Air Force for over 20 years, and retired from the Air Force. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ella Ann Jones, his parents, and his brother, Donald Jones. Norman is survived by his sister, Doris DeGrandis (Joseph) of Jackson, NJ and his three children, Andy Jones of Atlanta, GA, Angela Jones-Reus (Achim) of Athens, GA and Sherrie Jones-Tomkins (Randy) of Dayton, OH; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. His service will be held at Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 2:00PM with Rev. Joe Cruse. Interment will follow to Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island, LA under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
