Nathalie Brown Duncan October 22, 1920-July 30, 2012 Funeral services for Mrs. Nathalie Brown Duncan, 91, of Monterey, will be 10am Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Monterey Baptist Church with the Revs. John Rushing & Paul Stevens officiating. Interment will follow at the Monterey Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home Ferriday. Mrs. Duncan was born on October 22, 1920 in Bude, MS to the union of William Jackson Brown and Letie Catherine Farmer Brown and passed from this life on July 30, 2012 in Monterey, La. She was a homemaker and a resident of the Monterey community. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Carmen Lippman & Thelma Middleton; and 2 brothers, Coyle Brown and Raymond Brown. Survivors include 1 son, Walter Martin Duncan & wife Adalene of Monterey; 3 daughters, Gloria Lee Willson & husband Morris of Monterey, Sonjia Greene McCoy & husband Boyd and Cathy Duncan both of Jamestown, TN; 1 sister, Willeen Walters of Monterey; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews & friends. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Robin Willson, Will Duncan, Jody Greene, Yankie Duncan, Chris Ellard, & Emery Ellard. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren, Debbie Willson Richardson & Cindy Marshall; great-grandchildren, Jese Poole, LeeAnna Willson Callon, Hayden Willson, Colton Willson, Yankie Lee Duncan, Jody Duncan, Riley Duncan, Natalee Duncan, Avery Greene, McKenna Greene, Ashlee Willson, Christian Ellard, Cameron Ellard, Jacob Marshall, & Caleb Marshall. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Monterey Baptist Church in Monterey.
