All friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life reception after the graveside service, at the Ferriday Church of Christ. Mrs. Wiley was born on March 3, 1941 in Crowville, LA to Nolan Seymour and Beatrice Finklea Seymour. She was a graduate of Sicily Island High School. In 1967, she married Oliver Wiley. She was employed as Nurse’s Aide at Jefferson Davis Hospital in Natchez, and later worked with her husband at their business, Wiley Small Engine Services. Nan was a faithful, lifelong member of Ferriday Church of Christ. She had a great love for her church and her community. She loved to cook and was known for baking fresh apple cakes and taking them to her friends and her doctors. Her only wish was for her family and friends to love her Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, and serve Him daily. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Beatrice Seymour; husband, Oliver Wiley; and five sisters, Hope Seymour, Wanda Seymour, Melody Diane Seymour, Vickie Seymour Lee, and Lynn Nevill. She is survived by one daughter, April Wiley of Tehachapi, California; three grandchildren, Levi, Scarlett, and Sterling “Gus” all of Tehachapi, California; two brothers, Glenn Seymour and wife Doris of Winter Springs, FL, and David Seymour of Haughton, LA; three sisters, Sadie Breithaupt and husband A.J. of Vicksburg, MS, Lea Cranfield of Baton Rouge, LA, and Ann Ritman of Ferriday; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Natchez Children’s Services, Ferriday Church of Christ, or Concordia Parish Library.
